We understand that the highest priority must be placed on keeping everyone affiliated with our operations safe. At R.H. Tyson, safety is demonstrated from the top down. The president of the company, Rann Tyson, has set a high standard for safety and communicated the importance of adhering to the standard to all employees. Each employee is required to take an active part in ensuring the Safety and Health Program is fully implemented.

 

To achieve our corporate safety plan and promote a strong safety culture, the following guidelines are enforced:

 

Each employee is required to comply with the R.H. Tyson Safety and Health Program. Failing to comply with the Safety and Health Program is not an option and will result in disciplinary reprimand.

The company will provide ongoing training to all management personnel in their role, ensuring that everyone on the job site understands the safety practices.

 

The company will train all employees on their duties and responsibilities to keep a job site safe and free of recognized hazards. Employees are taught safe work practices, proper use of personal protective equipment and how to recognize hazards on the job site.

 

Upper management will continually monitor the success and effectiveness of the overall Safety and Health Program. During the weekly Safety Committee meetings, and as required, upper management and field personnel will discuss and look for ways to improve safety strategies.

The company will obtain and keep up-to-date knowledge of governmental rules and regulations and utilize other technical and professional resources on safety and health that relate to the company’s operations.
